If you have selected a site you would like to assess for pollinator habitat improvements, head outside with your smartphone or tablet and get started!
This assessment should take you about 20 minutes or less to complete. You will be evaluating flowering habitat, nesting habitat and insecticide use at the site.
TIPS:
- If you intend to complete the assessment just once this season, we encourage you to do so in late spring/early summer. Feel free to complete the tool a second time in early fall to assess how food availability has changed for pollinators.
- We also invite you to use this tool both before and after you complete any habitat improvements, to evaluate and document changes over time.
